About Me.
Hospitality is my total JAM! I was lucky to attend college at UC Berkeley and be exposed to some of the best food in the Bay Area. After graduating, I dove right in to working in the "scene" and eventually managed a few "Top 100" restaurants. I left for more freedom and diversity, and began working with fine dining caterers at amazing venues and private estates, honing my eye for style, design and timing. Years of working every job imaginable with top caterers in a wide variety of settings, paired with a keen attention to detail and natural leadership skills made my 2012 transition to event planning and management a seamless trajectory. Not only do I know what every one of your hired vendors is supposed to be doing, I've most likely done that job! Extraordinary service for you and your guests will always be my focus, as taking care of people that way is what makes me happy.
When I'm not helping create your next great event, I'm working in the yard, messing around on my vintage sewing machine, creating homemade tinctures and lotions, designing a new linocut for my annual handmade holiday cards, writing about this or that, or cooking a great meal for my friends and family. I love to get to out into nature hiking and running, and then finish off the day at one of the many great restaurants around our beautiful SF Bay. |
